Eagle appeared in newsagents on 14th April, 1950, with Dan Dare as its lead feature.
Dan Dare was created by Frank Hampson and drawn by a team of artists under his direction.
This site is a tribute to all those writers and artists who worked on the original Eagle from 1950 to 1969.
